How Leaders' Lab began

A passion for helping people build their businesses, a friend's suggestion, and the first meeting of the Lab.

Working with people, empowering them and supporting them in building up their businesses had always been my passion. But it was not until Parth Desai, one of my closest friends, suggested that we actually design a program for entrepreneurs, and work with them on the same principles we worked on in our friendly discussions, that I thought about bringing some method to this passion.

That's when we decided to get together formally every week and start a structured program that I would lead. Prakshal Mehta, one of my oldest friends, was the most enthusiastic person about this new venture and immediately registered his interest in taking part in such a session.

So we shared this idea with a couple of friends. Some were enthusiastic, some shrugged it off, and some promised to take part at a future date. But some of our dearest friends registered their interest, and that's how we started the first meeting of Leaders' Lab with Abhishek Bansal, Parth Desai, Prakshal Mehta, Kiran Chavda and Vishal Bajarani.

As we started working with people, we started to see the impact we were actually making in people's lives and their businesses. Then Parth suggested that we hold introductions and put a formal structure around our current and future programs.

One thing led to another, and we have had the opportunity to work with so many great people through Leaders' Lab that, just recollecting our journey so far, I can experience nothing else but gratitude.

I would like to acknowledge the entire Leaders' Lab family, who have given us the opportunity of contributing to their lives at some point. It has been my privilege to know you and to make a difference with you. I invite every member of the Lab, past, present and future, to share their journey.

A special thank-you to Harnish Parikh, Amitsinh Mahida and Bhagyesh Dobaria for being the unshakeable pillars of the Lab.
