It’s amazing how life brings you back to where it all began.
Today, I had the privilege of reconnecting with Dr. abhay khandekar, the Director of Siddhi Vinayak Hospital in Ahmedabad.

Eleven years ago, I started my journey in healthcare management as the Chief Medical Administrator at Siddhi Vinayak. Back then, Dr. Khandekar’s dedication to patient care and his unwavering passion for surgery were truly inspiring. Even more inspiring was his quest to constantly keep learning and keep himself at the very pinnacle of surgical developments.

Fast forward to today, and that fire still burns brightly! We reconnected over a patient discussion today (which he explained in a way that only HE can!), and it was incredible to see the same enthusiasm in his eyes as he spoke about his latest complex surgeries. It was a reminder that even after years of experience, the drive to make a difference can stay strong!

This (chance?!) encounter really rekindled my own sense of purpose in the healthcare space. As a Consultant at Leaders’ Lab, I’m fortunate to work with amazing institutions like Siddhi Vinayak; and through them make a difference in healthcare in India.
